Contributing to local book pop-up shop “Bard’s Town Books”, I along with two other featured poets, acted as the main night's speakers. Reading materials relating to the theme of “Tall Tales”, my work related to not only the idea of retelling a tall tale but also to the retracing of the tale as an oral history and the use of tall tales to perpetuate stereotypical views of others.
